"Sometimes I get caught up in the space between lines and I forget to write words that express some of my interests. Photography can be a lonely existence especially when your ideas and images conflict with others. After many years I still find certain subjects of greater interest to me than others. I have been teaching a small class of students recently. I have discovered that They bring a variety of personalities and interests to photography. When we recently went to a local waterfall I noticed that some of them stayed a distance away from the water while others gradually crept closer. After a period of time several of them began looking at the area surrounding the falls. There was an old barn, some dried tree limbs and of course each other. I enjoyed observing them observe their environment.
